Behind the Sounds

I'm Chris, a composer, multi-instrumentalist, and collector of sounds.

I write music for film, television, games, and anything with a story worth telling. Drawn to both orchestras and electronics, I enjoy moving between genres, building immersive soundscapes, and finding the small details that quietly shape how a moment feels.

I am currently enrolled in UCLA's Film Scoring Certificate program, where I continue exploring the art of storytelling through sound.

When I'm not composing, I'm usually collecting instruments, recording field sounds on evening walks, hunting for vinyl records, experimenting with sound design, or trying to convince myself I don't need another instrument.

The smallest sounds often leave the biggest impressions.

And yes, birds are technically dinosaurs.

A man with dark hair, smiling, pointing to a sign on a brick wall that reads 'AIR' with an atomic symbol. He is standing outside a red brick church or historic building, wearing a dark hoodie and a blue plaid jacket, holding a tote bag and a smartphone, with trees and a blue sky in the background.

Need music? I know a guy.
